"We absolutely loved staying at Agnati Villas - the pool was gorgeous - a great temperature with a beautiful view. The location near the town is great (make sure to have a car!) and still close enough to Heraklion. There were plenty of beds and the layout of the houses/villas was great for a large group. During our stay the owner responded promptly to any request e.g. repair of basketball hoop for the kids! Plenty of supermarkets in nearby Perama. Good beaches within 20-30 minutes drive. "The apartment hotel is a new building in a suburban residential area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a good restaurant called Brothers nearby which serves gyros and other Greek meals and is frequented by locals. There is a mini mart and a couple of bakeries as well on the same street.
