Casa do Amarelindo
Pousada Solar Dos Deuses
3.5 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (26)
"Beautiful rooms and lovely staff with plenty of space. I would not recommend for families and the Pelourinho área can be unsafe in areas despite the amount of police officers patrolling the area. In our experience they are there to be shown and not to act. Nevertheless if you come during carnival this would be a prime spot."

"We highly recommend this hotel. We received such a warm welcome on arrival; the staff even helped us take our luggage up to our room. The breakfast area downstairs was beautiful and scenic, partially indoors and outside and the lady and guy that served us each day were so very friendly and helpful. "Amazingly friendly and helpful staff from the receptionists to the lady preparing breakfast, to the cleaning staff. The rooftop is a great place to read, relax, work, wifi is working very well. Clean shared spaces, clean rooms. Only blot, the bedsheets which I found with marks, although clearly washed. It would be perfect if the sheets and pillowcases were new. Convenient location, just steps from the road where buses are."

Pousada Suites do Pelo
2.0 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, (17)
"The rooms and towels are not clean, use your own. The area of the hotel, especially the street, is very very dangerous and should be avoided. We were attacked. The shower knob charges electricity and there was no hot water in the room we were checked in."
Pousada Suites do Pelo
Hotel Sobrado 25 - Hostel
2.0 star property
6.8 out of 10, (14)
"Had a good stay here for 3 nights. The room was big, as was the bed- and comfortable. I read one review complaining about the noise, but it wasn’t excessive to us- our room was facing away from the main street. "
