We really appreciated the direct contact with the house manager reminding us of how to access the property and where to find the key and badge. The house is very nice, but we do not recommend driving done the driveway. It is very steep and difficult to back out of.

Cleanliness was not acceptable. On entry observed crumbs of food, including a cookie on the floor, also a bed pillow on a chair in the living room which per the owner had been used by a mom for nursing a baby. The upstairs bathroom had an fecal-like odor and a bath mat on the floor had caked mud on it.I called the rental agent. He said he was shocked, because the last person who stayed there was the owner. He said the owner had him cancel the scheduled cleaning because the “house was fine.” Since I was now uncertain about the overall cleanliness of the home I requested the agent have the cleaners come and change the sheets on the beds, clean the 3 bathrooms and wash the mat in the bathroom.The owner requested to talk to me and the agent gave me her number. I called and the owner told me what I described was not possible because she used the “best house cleaners in Pebble Beach”. They were “top notch”. She insisted the house was was clean, and if I was dissatisfied, I could “move on”. We had family driving hundreds of miles, arriving at 9 pm on a Friday night, “move on” was not an option. I pointed out the agent told me she had him cancel the cleaning. She then agreed to have the cleaners return. The agent told me the cleaners couldn’t come until 2:30pm the next day. The cleaners said it would be faster for them if we were gone. We left the house until late afternoon. The cleaners said they had been scheduled to clean before we arrived, but it was cancelled.

We really enjoyed staying at this house. It was very clean and comfortable for four guys, each with his own bedroom. The proximity to shopping (Whole Foods) and to the various golf courses was really nice. Booking with the host and communication with the property manager was a breeze. We would definitely recommend this property and would not hesitate to stay again!

House is very clean with plenty of space. So close to golf courses, coast and shopping/restaurants. Host was responsive and helpful. Check in and check out was quick and easy. 10/10 would stay here again.

very nice 4 bedroom 3 bath house. the only reason it is not 5 stars is because hwy 68 is directly behind the backyard. If you have no problem hearing traffic this house is perfectly situated mid way between the golf courses and cannery row and it’s inside 17 mile drive.

Nice house with comfortable beds, plenty of clean towels, nice seating and working appliances. However, it really needs some attention to detail as far as housekeeping goes and a couple of safety issues. The fire extinguisher is in a sealed box on the counter which wouldn't be very helpful in a fire! Several of the permanent pads on the kitchen counter seats are loose and one is completely disconnected (unsafe). The refrigerator needs a new water filter and the light is on indicating that. The shower drain in one bathroom drains so slowly that one is standing in 3-4 inches of water. The shower curtain in the lower level bathroom is moldy and slimy and needs to be replaced. Housekeeping is very lacking: no kitchen towels; only old dirty sponges; dirty (yogurt coated) spoons in clean silverware drawer; sticky counter; jelly on mug in clean mug cupboard; greasy cabinet doors; crumbs inside all drawers and on the seats of chairs; and all pots/pans piled into cupboards on top of each other. With a little attention to cleanliness this could be a stellar property.

Lovely family stay

We had a lovely time staying here over Fourth of July to successfully escape the firework noise for our baby (not allowed in Carmel). Great location — about 10 minutes from various local attractions. Great space for family. Had fun toys for kids. Some highway noise but otherwise very quiet and noise machines were provided. Going in through seven mile drive gate was quick with the pass. Great communication. Would stay again. Thank you!

Girls Golf Getaway

Eight of us stayed in Virginia's house and had a wonderful time. The house is great for 8 people - plenty of room and comfortable beds. Location can't be beat! And when we had a small problem with a coffee maker early Sunday morning it was fixed within 30 minutes! That's excellent service. Virginia was very easy to communicate with. I would certainly rent her house again.

Hanging with grown children who attended a wedding

This was the perfect place for our group. Plenty of room for several couples. Quiet home. Comfortable to hang out in. Close to Carmel and Monterey. We had a lovely time.

The property is beautiful. The location could not be better. Nearby to great food and great golf. My only suggestion would be stock the refrigerator with some condiments so we don’t have to purchase full-size items only to throw away when we depart. We all had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again without question.

Perfect location

Super accommodation, communication with owner/property manager was prompt and courteous. A small issue was quickly taken care of. Loved the home, perfectly decorated, beds were super comfy and linens clean. Location was ideal and we will return!

Bachelorette Weekend

Virginia's property was the perfect home base for our group of 7 during a bachelorette weekend in Carmel! The location was perfectly convenient, the house was spacious and well stocked with appliances, and communication with Virginia and her property manager, Rick, was very quick/helpful all weekend.

Great Location

Great house located in the Pebble Beach neighborhood. Very easy to get to Pebble Beach golf course as well as Carmel and Monterey for dinners. One thing to be mindful of for future guests is that the driveway is very very steep, but there is a staircase next to the driveway that made it easier for our friend on crutches to get down.

Amazing property for our retreat!

The property was absolutely perfect! We had a group of ladies from all over the US join us for our stay. The home offered the perfect amount of rooms, for us to spread out and be comfortable. We will stay there again for sure!

Perfect Size & Location

This beautiful home was the perfect size for 3 couples and 2 small children. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and bathrooms. Plenty of gathering space for all of us in the common areas. The toddlers had great fun exploring the toy basket in the downstairs family room! That was a great touch! The adults agreed the location was perfect for getting to our favorite spots in Carmel.The entire group agreed this was one of our favorite rentals in Pebble Beach. Instructions for accessing the property were very easy to follow and the property manager was exceptionally responsive when we had questions.

Excellent house in a great neighborhood
