"The hotel is very nice, and the restaurant and bar superb. There’s a well equipped gym, laundry room, and hangout area which was handy, and the staff were super friendly. The rooms are nice, spacious, and clean, but the lighting was comically bad! The rooms have these poorly positioned directional spot downlights which make it very very difficult to apply makeup or iron your clothes and they just cast very bad light and shadows across the whole space. It probably comes up well in photos but it’s like stage lighting rather than anything you’d want to live in. "

"This was a wonderful hotel. Great staff and service. Unfortunately we had animal view rooms, but the koala never moved by the windows of either of our rooms. One suggestion would be more food options for kids on the menu. "

"we were only here for 2 nights but our room was great, large, clean , easy to access via short stairway plus complimentary snacks and great view of the bay. Easy 10min wal into town via well lit footpath. "
