"El desayuno no cambia aburre comer lo mismo los jugos son de pura azúcar pésimo, staff nada atento, el aire acondicionado ya son viejos no se siente cuando hace calor , las camas parecen del año 1995 viejisimas , no volvería a este lugar"

" It has an unbelievable view it was amazing to look at the Pao de Azúcar mountain morning evening and night. This was definitely the best thing in this hotel. Unfortunately our Ac wasn't working I had to wait until 2 rooms later at 11pm and it was just too much for me. Manager thought we could not understand Brazilian Portuguese, and scolded staff for changing our room with out her knowledge. No wonder it takes so long to help the client. Basically I paid a full day in a room with out being in it. Staff was attentive and they tried to help. Hope they can make the adjustments to management, it's unnecessary for someone to travel so far and not be able to rest in a paid room and not even be compensated. Breakfast was superb. Best coffee I had all week. Waiters and food at restaurant were excellent also. Pool could be better maintained the glass of the rooftop is stained witch can spoil the view. That area also is a bit small for me. "

"There was a super king size bed in the room which took up most of the room and made placing luggage and moving about difficult, a double bed would have been plenty and then there would have been room to move. The staff were very friendly and helpful, air conditioning was good and the location of the Hotel was excellent being close to parks, municipal theatre etc. Will stay again but we will make sure we get a room with more space. Breakfast was the usual Brazilian hotel breakfast and was fine."

"Had to pay 40 Real to the hotel for the luggage storage as we arrived before the official check in time. First time ever that a hotel charged me as guest for a service that you could expect when being a guest."

"Great view from rooftop bar, deck and pool. Very flavorful food from pool and dinner restaurant."

"This is the worst hotel I've even been to (and I do travel a lot). Breakfast was OK and the staff was friendly, but the property is extremely old, dirty, smelly and in horrible condition. The surroundings are just like the hotel, plus a lot of beggars and pick pockets (you should totally avoid staying in the downtown area of Rio)."
