"The place was just fantastic, it had everything yet a minimalistic feel to it. The trek up the hill is a bit high but you get used to it. "Pros: Kind, responsive property managers, close to beach and local food nearby. Cons: Roaches. I was beyond mortified to have had my leftovers in a to-go box in the refrigerator and upon opening to Re-heat a cockroach about 1 1/2 - 2 inches long scurried out!!! Everything we had, that we’d opened we threw out. Upon leaving the room, at about 3:45a we were packing and cleaning our dishes and saw again baby roaches rushing to hide into the walls which confirmed there are roaches in the unit....

"Our family, six adults and three children. From the time we arrived until we tearfully left, it was pure heaven. Property is gorgeous, Debbie, Jairo and crew made all our requests a reality from scheduling tours, airport shuttle and numerous other requests. We spent the majority of time relaxing by the pool. "Mariposa Villa was very clean, all systems and appliances were working well, and the property manager attended to our needs very responsively. Our stay was restful and restaurants nearby were fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool, hot tub and wildlife -- capuchin monkeys, iguana, birds, etc. Thank you to the host and staff for a relaxing respite!"
