"The Prince of Wales has bus-stops immediately outside the building and it is located opposite the entrance to Osborne House. Our breakfasts were generous in terms of portions and any extra requirements arrived swiftly. Our room was very good value and it was very quiet. Two minor issues with fixtures were resolved quickly and cheerfully. We did not have a car during this visit, but the bus journey from the East Cowes dock took only a few minutes on the local bus service. Great value , great location, and helpful staff."

"It was an unexpected trip to the Isle of Wight as my dad had a cycling accident there. Everyone was amazing and so helpful which was especially appreciated in the circumstances. The room was super comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend"

"A lovely 2 bed house boat on a quiet marina with an excellent pub very nearby. All amenities provided. Nice area to have a drink on top of the boat and watch nature. Very clean and comfortable. Nice shower and comfy beds. Would suggest take an eye mask as a streetlight opposite shines brightly into the main bedroom. We were on bikes and there is not a shop on site. A lovely neighbour gave us a lift to the supermarket. Very good communication and easy check in /out process. QUite late chech in at 5 but suited us. Would highly recommend and would stay again if in the area."

"Very well maintained and fab to stay. We had dinner there and it was fabulous. I booked a table in advance. It was full when we were there, so would recommend booking ahead. Steak and shiraz with a peppercorn sauce. Breakfast was set out on a full table to help yourself with juices, cereal, pastry, croissants, toast and there were jams a plenty to chose, along with marmite. There were muffins and bars along with fruit basket. We were greeted and asked if wale would like tea or coffee. Staff excellent very helpful across both stays."

"The owners were very friendly and helpful. Well presented and equipped, it was very clean. Rural location which is what we wanted. The only advice we would give to improve the property is to improve the WiFi service in the lounge, which is quite poor but very good in the rest of the house."

"Absolutely loved the quirkiness of staying on a houseboat. It’s modern and well maintained, in a fantastic position on the marina which catches the evening sun. Well equipped too. We stayed Monday to Thursday in June and there were barely any other people in the marina so it was very quiet. Location is perfect for exploring the island in any direction,"
