"Hotel was in a great location, being close to the town centre and the sea front and the seaview was very nice. Breakfast was good and the staff were good throughout. The room had a huge en-suite bathroom which was finished to a very high standard and was very nice. The bedroom was ok but not to the same high standard as the bathroom and view of the sea was somewhat spoilt by the view of a poor condition balcony. "Great location right near the beach and added bonus of on site parking. Our room was spacious and clean, and the bed was so comfortable. Bathroom had a walk in shower as well as a tub and toiletries were included. No AC but fans were provided. There was a bit of traffic noise but didn’t bother us too much. Ear plugs are in the room if needed. Recommend staying here for the great location and cosy room."

Food was delicious with lots of options. Breakfast was out of this world excellent. Location couldn't be better as it is right opposite the railway station. All in all a great experience. "I stayed for one night during the June 2026 heatwave. It was self check in, so no staff on the premises. The building is old, with narrow corridors and stairs. There is no air conditioning. The room I stayed in was like a sauna. I would suggest providing each room with a fan. I stayed in a similar property earlier in the week and the hotel had provided each room with a fan. "旅行本に載っていたりクチコミも良かったので予約しました。女性一人旅でコスパ良くしたいため評判の良い朝食を付け、トイレは別のシングルに宿泊。週末は高いので平日にしてロンドンから日帰りでなく１時間で来られるので夕方6時過ぎの列車で来てフィッシュを頂いてからホテルへ。ホテル迄はくだり坂、バス停はほとんど目の前にあるので帰りの上り坂はバス利用。翌日は8時からイングリッシュブレックファストを頂きましたが用意まで時間がかかりま味は普通。部屋はベッドは快適でしたがシャワーの排水が良くなく溢れる心配をしながら、ゆっくり出来ませんでした。頭が窓際で4月末でも寒かった。館内はエレベーターは無し。一人旅で2段ベッドが嫌な方は個室なのでその点はよいのでは？ロンドン連泊で費用がかかりますが日帰りでなうあえて宿泊も節約になりそうです。パビリオンは徒歩圏、セブンシスターズ方面のバスもブライトン駅迄行かずともすぐのバス停から出かけられます、後から知りました！ 設備も年季が入っていてやっと稼働している面もありオーナーもお年なのでいつまでかな？と思いました。"
