"This hotel was so much better in person than it looked online. The rooms were large and we had a balcony with outdoor seating. The staff were very nice and helpful, the air conditioning worked well which was appreciated as it was very hot while we were there. The breakfast buffet was lovely. The location was central to everything. Maybe not perfect for people with mobility issues, as there are some stairs to negotiate here and there, but that is true of many hotels in historic areas."

"Friendly staff, clean rooms, and good parking. Hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the train station where you can take the cable car up to the old city. Best if you have a car since there is free parking below the train station and you’ll need to take the cable car into the old city. Breakfast is fair and available daily. Sound travels from the hallway as well as the street below, esp if you have your window open. AC is in the room but seemed to be hard to modify and the room stayed warm....

"Our stay in Orvieto was absolutely amazing! We stayed in a beautiful mountain country home with breathtaking views that made us feel like we were truly experiencing the beauty and peacefulness of Italy.Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, even sharing fresh figs, homemade honey, and wine with us. Those thoughtful touches made our stay so special.We also had some unexpected car trouble during our visit, and what could have been a very stressful situation turned into one of our favorite memories. The entire town came together to help us, and we were overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of everyone. It was such a beautiful reminder of the warmth of the Italian people.This was more than just a place to stay—it was an experience we will always remember. The home, the views, the hospitality, and the people made our time in Orvieto truly unforgettable. We would absolutely recommend staying here!"

"The villa is even more beautiful in person than the photos. The house, pool, and grounds are very well maintained, and every bedroom and bathroom was clean and thoughtfully decorated. The host was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. She made us feel welcome, and when a minor issue came up, she had someone there immediately to resolve it. The villa is well located in Umbria, making it easy to explore Todi and the other interesting villages and towns in the vicinity."

"We had a wonderful stay. Everything was excellent: the accommodations, the atmosphere, and especially the people, who were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The only issue was finding the property. To be fair, La Casella provided very clear directions and specifically advised us not to rely on GPS. Unfortunately, we decided to follow the GPS anyway and ended up lost on a very difficult road in the middle of nowhere. My advice to future guests: carefully follow the instructions provided by La Casella and do not rely solely on your GPS. If you do, your arrival will be much easier than ours! Other than that, our experience was fantastic, and we would gladly stay here again."
