"The check-in time is 3:00pm based on the online information. We arrived at 3:00 and we were told by the staff at reception that the room was not ready yet, and it would be ready in 5 to 10 minutes. After 15 mins, another family arrived and they were told the same thing and the reason provided, was being short-staffed. We waited another 5 minutes, and the room was not still ready. The office of General Manager was beside the reception. I went there and asked the GM if he was aware of the delays...
"Staff was very helpful with info about the area and was flexible when we needed early breakfast and coffee. Only negative is that your outside shoes had to be removed when you entered the house — inconvenient— but overall an excellent place. Highly recommend."
"The room was clean, well located. but staff wasnt very helpful and responsive, and there was no refrigrator in the room.we had to put our stuff in the kitchens fridge"
"This is a cute and charming place if you like that old fashioned vibe. It had too many decorations for my taste though. The kitchen is very dated and the breakfast was self serve and very basic. Our room was very dusty, but it must be difficult to dust around the many items on display. There are a lot of labels and signs for the rules and regulations which took away from some of the charm."
