Our stay in the hotel was great. We had a very good night's sleep although we had to be up early to catch our flight. The location of the hotel was very good as we caught the airport shuttle bus right outside. The breakfast was great. We would stay here again if we were flying from Stansted.

Absolutely fantastic stay! Food was delicious, service was friendly and attentive! My only issues were that it needed to be more clear about booking a slot to use the pool/spa and that the heating was on constantly in every room which is obviously great but way too hot at night and not very economical.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay. However, some of the staff need to smile a little more and offer a more friendly customer service. We stayed in one of the lodges, which had a fabulous view down to the sea. The lodge was very comfortable and well equipped. The swimming pool facilities were very nice and very clean. The central hotel is a beautiful victorian mansion house. With palacial foyer and opulent dining area and bar. Views across surrounding countryside and out to sea spectacular. We were staying in one of the chalets which have a high standard of decor and comfort, each chalet is surrounded by a large garden and hence has a great deal of privacy. P.S. don't forget to say hello to the tortoise.

Superb venue for my partners Christmas works party. Lovely spacious clean room which looked like it had just been refurbished. Staff were very friendly and courteous and nothing was too much trouble. A hidden gem of a venue and we will be back!

Very nice and spacious room, with nice view. Really allowed us to relax and decompress. Convenient that there is a restaurant so we didn't have to drive for food, but can be a problem for longer stays if one gets bored of the menu. It was nice walking around the property and there were some nice amenities too.

Can’t fault this hotel or staff. Absolutely excellent! They went above and beyond to look after us. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic and everywhere was impeccably clean. Lovely touch with the welcome pack in the lodge. Many thanks for finding us a room in the main hotel to stay an extra night. Beautiful grounds and views of the ocean. We will definitely return.

It was a unique property as ive never stayed in such a private property with my husband. With a beautiful view to the sea, private outside area, lovely lounge and dining ibside with open plan kitchen, bedroom was so relaxing, bed ultra comfy, bathroom perfect. We loved the shower. Reception were very helpful and Julia is a credit. Lady on check out asked if we were happy at 11am on Sat 2nd Sept. We would love to visit again! Afternoon tea delicious, staff very attentive and beautifully decorated table.
