"The property is old. So there are some things that may not be up to the standard of some people. With that being said for it being an older property the place is clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff is great. Great place for an affordable room. "

"I absolutely had the greatest time staying here at the Westin Sarasota! From the time I walked in the hotel to the night at the bar in the lobby to go on the free shuttle it’s absolutely been the best time. I recommend anybody to come back and stay at this particular property. The front staff was amazing, especially Valeria Garcia, Nikki, Glenn family, and George at the bar. Everybody was absolutely fabulous will be back again."

"A Hidden Gem for Rest There’s something quietly special about the Golden Host. It’s not flashy, and it doesn’t try to be. It feels joyful and honest. There’s space to breathe. People slow down here. Strangers laugh like old friends. The pool, the trees, the music, the calm in the air — it all adds up to a kind of rest that’s rare these days.
