"We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Corin from July 14th through the 17th. In my opinion it’s small to be a resort but the place is beautiful. The staff was very attentive to our every need. I love the fact that it was not crowded. July is considered the rainy season and the off season. That’s probably why it wasn’t crowded. If you don’t like crowds consider going during the month of July. The weather was perfect, maybe in the low 80s during the day. We experience a shower or 2 but it didn’t last long. I would definitely recommend this place. "

"The resort staff knew us by name and were genuinely concerned with our happiness. The food was fresh and delicious from the buffet breakfast to the poolside dining or the sushi restaurant. The beds were comfortable and rooms nice and dark as well as quiet for a good night’s rest after an active day exploring the grounds. We had a blast river tubing and sitting in the springs as well as having smores by the firepit. The wildlife animal tour was incredible. Will definitely return."

"We had a wonderful stay at Lomas del Volcán! The service was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the entire property felt like a peaceful retreat nestled in the jungle. The rooms are private, spacious, and offer stunning views of Arenal Volcano. One of our favorite features was the heated pool — it was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. We also loved how close the hotel is to town. It was just a short drive to great restaurants, shops, and activities, yet still felt secluded and quiet. From the beautiful grounds to the attentive staff and excellent amenities, Lomas del Volcán exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay near Arenal!"

"We booked Nayara Gardens as part of our last few days after spending 10 days in other areas of Costa Rica. It was the best way to end our vacation, everything at the hotel was amazing starting with the check in, the restaurants, the breakfast and a really nice touch which was that laundry of our clothes was included! "Aloha, We were greeted by Peggy at our check-in. We did arrive before check-in and Peggy was able to accommodate us. She was kind, helpful and accommodating. Our room, #17, had a perfect view of Mt. Arenal. The room had a comfortable bed and pillows with a mosquito net which we didn’t need during our stay. The room was equipped with WiFi, a small refrigerator, AC, ceiling fan and a tv. The facility included hot mineral pools, a swimming pool and a yoga studio. During our stay the AC stopped working. The staff, one being Peggy’s son, did everything possible but were unable to fix the system. Due to the inconvenience we were offered room #18 & Peggy treated us to an amazing dinner in the hotel restaurant. The restaurant is ran by Peggy’s son and it was one of our favorite meals in Costa Rica. We booked our room to include breakfast. It was a traditional Costa Rican meal of beans and rice, plantains, scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, fresh fruit and coffee or tea. Although it’s remote from downtown La Fortuna you can easily get an UBER for around $6 USD. We signed up for several tours and each tour picked us up with ease. Mahalo! L and L Travels with Aloha "
