"Great hotel with beach access and convenient location. Nice pool area, clean rooms with hammock and balconies. Dining area right by the beach with unbeatable view. Sandy man made beach area with palm trees, lounge chairs and pool bar. Access to the water over a ladder. Snorkeling is worth it right from there. Service in the restaurant ranges from very attentive waiters to having to run after them and asking for everything. Tables are often not cleaned when guests leave till new guests ask for it or take matter in their own hands. Food is enough, but quality is ok and the variety is not huge. Breakfast is the best. Overall it was our second stay and for the location, resort and snorkel opportunity we liked it very much."

"From check in to check out this was a spectacular experience. Miguel was at the desk when we got there. He was speedy checking us in and didn't make us wait until 3 because our room was ready. We had a 2 bed with private bathroom and it was very spacious. The showers were excellent. High pressure and always hot. Seeing the turtles walk around the lobby was a cute touch. In the morning we would go upstairs and have free coffee and sit on the terrace. It's such an old school feel, like you are in a Mexican grandmother's home. It's beautiful. People were respectful of the shared fridge and we never worked about anyone stealing our messing with our items. The location is perfect, right off the pier. There are plenty of areas to shop, site see and go eat. Miguel gave us great recommendations for everything and also set us up on a great snorkel tour for a wonderful price. I can't say enough good things about this place. "

"Hotel Cozumel is a great budget friendly resort but doesn’t feel budget friendly, the entire staff are amazing from the front desk to the servers to even the groundskeepers who work none stop to keep the resort looking great. Roger was a new server around the pool area and is amazing, Roger’s super friendly, very personable and is just a great guy. He went above and beyond for my wife and I and by the end of the week my wife and I felt like we went off and left one of our kids behind ( we did not leave a kid behind) but Roger just had that sense of caring and would do anything for ya. Highly recommend and if you stay at Hotel Cozumel Tell Roger (I’m guessing he’s the only Roger at the resort) But please tell him Mark and Tammy from Missouri say hello. We Do Not Dive with Dive Paradise. We dive with Island Divers Cozumel that pick us up at the dock/pier right at the resort. Dive Paradise have Slow Cattle boats (10-20 people per boat and run 5-10 mph) and island divers have smaller boats with 250-300 hp motors and a maximum of 8 divers."

"Such a great property. The owner George was very nice and helpful. He cooked us a wonderful breakfast. of note: The AC in the room worked great. Bathroom/Shower room was large. Breakfast was good and filling. Owner was responsive, actually proactive in communicating, making sure we were able to access the property easily, knew where we could go for dinner, etc... Will stay here again."
