"This hotel is in a very convenient location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was incredibly warm, so they assisted us with relocating to a basement room that was a few degrees cooler. "
"Absolutely stunning accommodations in the East Lodge, fantastic dining experience, and friendly staff! Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return!"

"A lovely house outside Cumbernauld. So green and natural. Quiet and friendly neighbors on two and four legs. Lovely interieur, very very clean, a nice Welcome by the host. Kitchen: great. Beds: very comfortable, beautiful living room and even a piano room to take an evening drink.Best location to visit great scottish landmarks like Stirling, the Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel, Rosslyn, Dunfermline. Lovely Edinburgh and fascinating Glasgow nearby, and so are the Highlands. Trip to Loch Ness took about three hours, but it was worth it. Finally don't forget to visit Arria Sculpture in Cumbernauld. We loved it aĺl"
"Rang in advance to tell Reception we would be arriving after 10.30pm, she said it was no trouble. When we got there the young lady was extremely helpful and very pleasant. She told us where there was plenty of tea coffee and milk if we needed it - which we did after a long journey. The hotel itself was a little dated but it was very clean, the bed was comfortable and we had a good quiet nights sleep. We would definitely use it again. "
"Had a wonderful stay at Elaine's super clean cottage. Elaine is lovely, such a kind host. The place was ideal for myself and my daughter, great location, quiet and peaceful, with parking right outside.
The king bed in the master bedroom was perfect and the single bed in the other bedroom was also comfortable. The bathroom had a shower over the bath, which had great water pressure and plentiful hot water.
Everything we needed to make a meal was included in the kitchen, plenty of cupboard space, microwave, hob, oven, fridge freezer, cafetiere as well as a washer, so you can pack light. Elaine left biscuits, tea, coffee and porridge for us, which was a lovely touch.
The hot tub was a real treat, nice to relax in, despite the unseasonably cold and wet August weather, (tip-bring flip flops and a dressing gown).
We were in town for a skating event at the local rink, so we didn't have the chance to sight-see, but the cottage is ideally placed for trips to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. We can however, recommend "The Mint" in Coatbridge, great restaurant, highly recommend a meal here.
The cottage is such a lovely place, we hope to return next year. Thank you Elaine"
