"When we arrived the lock on the door didn’t work, took about an hour to resolve which was quick but meant we couldn’t leave to go and explore Naples. There was also a dead bug squashed onto the bathroom wall. The rest of the hotel was nice and location was okay, a short walk to the train station. Staff were really friendly and helpful. "

"Hotel has beautiful views and spacious, clean, cool rooms. Downside: The location made it nearly impossible to walk anywhere. The hill was steep and not well lit. Taxi was needed to go anywhere. "
"When I origainlly searched for my hotels I was looking for a place with a gym. This hotel didn't appear. I booked the home next door and was saddened when I drove by The Parker. Luckily I am smart eought to only book the first night at any hotel. When I walked over and saw the Grand Parker I booked a suite for two days, and enjoyed a meal the Michellin restraunt, and watceh Capri from the dinning room. PERFECTION! "Arrived and gave my name, woman at desk just looked at me then turned and had a conversation with another woman for a few minutes, very rude. Then she told us it would be 10 minutes until room ready even though it was well after check in time. When she called us over she told us our room was absolutely fine but we couldn't get on the balcony as there was work being carried out . Workmen were right on the balcony so left blinds shut. Then my daughter found a rucksack in the cupboard and when I went to look I realised there was a mens clothing (a full set... boxers, socks, shorts, tshirt) folded on the top shelf. I went down to reception and she tried to tell me it was their bag of cleaning stuff but when I explained about the clothes she sent someone up. They took the stuff away but no explanation. Reception guaranteed me no one would be showing up with a key to get into the room but I was worried all night someone would. Room was very basic and the bathroom cramped and very basic. Bed was clean and comfortable though. Breakfast was somes buns or cereal served in a little area beside reception and it was pretty awful. Was fine for us for one night to go to Napoli game but I wouldnt go for any longer and I wont personally be returning! It was cheap so I suppose apart from the mans clothes in our room it was acceptable for the money... just!"
