"My husband and I needed a secluded getaway to decompress, and we wanted to take our 2 dogs. The Catus House was perfect for our needs. A fenced back yard, large porch, and the house was very cute and well stocked for our needs. Love the ice machine! The Dog Box was great and our Border Collie had fun opening the lid to rummage for a toy. Location is close to Bastrop State Park, which we daytripped to. Nights are very peaceful. Highly recommend and we hope to return!"

"This hotel is newly renovated and it's lovely! The new pillowtop beds are very comfortable. It's quiet. The bathroom is large and the towels are good quality. The breakfast has everything, including a waffle maker. Management aew very professional and welcoming. The pool and hot tub are very nice. They also have a gym. It's centrally located. I would most definitely stay there again. Also, the price is right. U prefer the Quality Inn to The Hampton which is overly expensive, old looking & there's no microwave or refrigerator like there is at Quality Inn Bastrop. "
