"Very comfortable bed. Quiet area just outside of town at a reasonable rate for the night. Man on the front desk not very welcoming or helpful. Arrived after dusk to find room door and all windows open which didn't help with warming up the room. No sky movies or smart TV."

"This was such a lovely stay. My family and I booked the place for a night but when we arrived and saw how beautiful it was, we had to extend for another night. They have an amazing collection of games and books to keep you occupied. And their music taste is amazing! It was calm, peaceful, and infinitely cozy. The hosts are wonderful and kind and generous. The location is beautiful and near the Karangahake gorge."
