Drayton Manor Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"So glad we booked this hotel as a treat for my grandchildren. Plenty of parking right outside the hotel. Staff were welcoming and check in was very quick. Rooms were a good size we were a family of 6 across 2 rooms and there was more than enough space for the 3 toddlers to play. Rooms were clean and bright. The play park could do with a little update but as it was only for half an hour while we waited for drinks the children enjoyed it. Children’s entertainment on a night is a lovely idea couple of hours dancing and games before bed wore them out. Free crazy golf kept my teen entertained too. The only complaint I had was we ordered drinks and it took over 20 mins to arrive but other than that it was a lovely child friendly hotel"

"Lights and extractor fan not working in the room. Reports of worms in the swimming pool by other guests. However, we didn’t see any worms and thought the pool and leisure facilities were fine. Moved to a different room due to lights and fan not working then ended up with bed bug bites from the mattress. (Confirmed by pharmacist) wrote a complaint to hotel about this but received no response. Would not be staying there again. Expedia tried to help with some form of refund but hotel didn’t reply to them either."

"The staff, especially the manager, were extremely polite, welcoming, and friendly throughout my stay. They were always happy to help and made me feel valued as a guest. However, the room was very hot because the air conditioning was not working properly, which made it difficult to get comfortable, particularly at night. If the air conditioning issue is resolved, the overall experience would be much better."
