Sagamore Hill is a great place to visit for those nature lovers and history buffs. The tour of the Roosevelt house was interesting as well as a full museum on Theodore Roosevelt. This branch of the natural park service also included a nature trail that takes you to the pretty beach in the picture. Along the trail we were able to spot beautiful wild flowers many chipmunks, squirrels, deer, egrets, butterflies, crawfish, salamanders, etc.... Not one of the most majestic national parks I've been to but interesting, very pretty and a great mix of both history and nature! We spent 3.5 hours there including taking the house tour, thoroughly reading through everything in the museum and taking a stroll to the beach. It's near the cute historic town oyster bay which is a great town to stroll through and get lunch!

"This property was at most the horrible experience. Property is not at all where it states on the website. When we arrived the ceiling was falling due to an old leakage and when I communicated with someone in charge of property, they said maintenance will come. We stood for a week and they came at the second to last day of our stay. It was cold every morning and the windows were patched with garbage bags. "We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Long Island visiting family. It is a perfect location on a beautiful green and lush golf course. The front desk team lead by Anne Marie are awesome. We want to recognize the wonderful customer service provided by Shelly, Whelsey, Akbar, Avhi and Elizabeth. They all went above and beyond to help our family. We so enjoyed the wonderful breakfast buffet each morning. There is a vast assortment of breakfast delights. Jocelyn is a new Manager who is doing a great job. She made sure to bring us a delicious cake to celebrate my husbands birthday. What a treat! The breakfast team is fabulous as they are so kind, caring and attentive. My son has a food allergy so they made sure he had what he needed each morning! Thank you Kevin, Charisse and Katie for taking such wonderful care of us! We keep coming back because of these wonderful people!"
