"Hotel just outside Peebles, good location if you have a car. Parking at hotel was fine. Room felt a bit tired and needed a little attention. Good size and outlook. "

"The hotel is in a lovely building, but the decor in our room was odd and dated - it needed a bit of tlc and updating in our opinion. Lovely views of the city and beyond. We wish the blinds/curtains had been black out, as it got quite light in the morning. The big light in our room flickered a lot, so we couldn’t use it. Free parking was great. The room was cleaned each day and had basic amenities - kettle with tea and coffee, ironing board and a safe in the wardrobe."

"We don't drink alcohol so I have no feedback on that, the breakfast options were decent, we stayed for a week and we got a bit tiered of it, but there is the resultant attached that makes it super convenient to switch things up and we really liked having those options "

"staff were very friendly and helpful and were always available, even helping us out when we had an early excursion by allowing us to have a coffee and pastries early as we were going to miss breakfast. highly recommended staying here"

"From the time we walked in, shaking terrified as Americans who had just driven on the wrong side of the road for the first times in our lives, the staff was nothing but wonderful. Greeted us with smiles, and were efficient. Quiet and accomodating at all times. Breakfast was great every morning, and the relaxing free range atmosphere was exactly what we needed. We lounged in almost every room and felt at home everywhere. We had dinner there two nights and everything was excellent. Highly recommend this location! "
