"I had a not so good experience. There was a foul smell, I requested for my room to be cleaned after use and the cleaners only emptied the bins, left the dirty towels from the previous day as is, didn’t change pillow case and more. I was so disappointed. On my last night, the fire alarm went off at about 11pm waking me from sleep in a panic with no direction of what am supposed to do. It was then I realised I didn’t have a telephone in the room to reach reception if I had an emergency in the room. The network signal is very poor. I had an overall bad experience and won’t be using this place again."

"The staff were very welcoming and polite. There is ample parking. We stayed in a suite which was spacious, clean and had good amenities. There is a good sized swimming pool which has allocated children hours. There was a good selection at breakfast and you can also order off a menu too. The restaurant also provided a good selection for dinner. The hotel is in a good location and a short uber ride from Oxford city centre. "

"Room was really quirky and decorated well. Some cob webs on lights, windows and headboard had a bit of musty smell. Room got very warm at night, air conditioning wasn't great. Staff were excellent though, really helpful and cheerful. Food at the restaurant was fantastic too."

"The only thing that let it down was the bathroom, extremely small not as clean as i would like. "

"We had a wonderful long weekend stay at this beautifully kept accommodation. We visited Oxford, Blenheim and Waterperry gardens with the children. The highlight for my children however, was to help Jane around the farm of a morning. She was so patient and kind with them and went above and beyond as a host which we are very grateful for. The pool was also so warm, I didn't think I'd use it but I did :-)"

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Cherry Tree. The room and place were lovely and quite modern considering how old the building is. There was only one shower towel and half a toilet roll when we checked into our room, as well as 1 of each tea/coffee so it seemed our room was prepared for one, however the staff were very helpful to sort this for us straight away. The location was good for what we wanted, and we enjoyed a lovely evening in Chinnor (although be aware it's a 30 minute walk on country lanes/paths to get there if you don't drive in). Breakfast was also reasonably priced, if not a bit basic (such as tinned fruit and plastic cups). But the cooked food was very nice and overall good value for money at £12 each."
