"This is a private, compact property that was perfect for our (too) short September weekend getaway along a beautiful part of the Maine coast. I spent hours out on the back deck overlooking the tidal cove, reading, sketching, but mostly just looking and listening. "For a small cottage it was spacious, had modern amenities. The listing says harbor view but you have to look thru power lines, power poles and a lobster processing plant. The side stone steps are overgrown with vegetation making it hard to maneuver. All in all a good experience."

"Cute little private cottage close to everything! Just a few miles you can hop on the ferry and head to Mohegan Island a must see! Head in the opposite direction and head to Camden another beautiful spot! "The cottage worked out well for us in Maine. Nice and quiet, good location, easy to get around. The gardens needed some attention and the lighting could be better in the kitchen (we are not fans of overhead fluorescents). Some foil, measuring cups and olive oil would be great too. Communication was great. Thank you for a nice stay."

"This rental was clean and the perfect size. The view out back is breathtaking. This rental showcases all of the natural beauty that Maine is famous for. The air conditioning was cold and the water in the shower was hot. All linens were crisp and white. The driveway was a challenge to navigate, however it is manageable. We hope to stay here again."

"Bill was so very nice and 100% accommodating. His place was very neat and clean. The property is very well maintained, private and peaceful. His cousin , Darcy, lives 2 doors down and is readily available should there be any questions or concerns.We enjoyed the lions at night and the stars were mesmerizing along with the fireflies. The house was in a perfect location with access to the water and kayaks/paddle boards. We spent a lot of time on the patio enjoying the view and using the fire pit. We did a lot of activities on the water and in freeport with the ll bean outdoor adventures We had great weather all week and excellent seafood and sea food restaurant choices all within 15 minutes of the property We all enjoyed the week and was exactly as we had expected. We rented kayaks which we could put in right there and paddle either direction on the beautiful pond, away from tourist sounds. This peninsula, the Pemaquid, is an ideal location, just 1-1/4 hrs from the Portland Airport, and a world apart, in lovely lobster-coves Maine. Mary Berger, your hostess is The Best, and you ‘ll love everything about her and this rental house. "
