"This is a private, compact property that was perfect for our (too) short September weekend getaway along a beautiful part of the Maine coast. I spent hours out on the back deck overlooking the tidal cove, reading, sketching, but mostly just looking and listening. "For a small cottage it was spacious, had modern amenities. The listing says harbor view but you have to look thru power lines, power poles and a lobster processing plant. The side stone steps are overgrown with vegetation making it hard to maneuver. All in all a good experience."

"Cute little private cottage close to everything! Just a few miles you can hop on the ferry and head to Mohegan Island a must see! Head in the opposite direction and head to Camden another beautiful spot! "The cottage worked out well for us in Maine. Nice and quiet, good location, easy to get around. The gardens needed some attention and the lighting could be better in the kitchen (we are not fans of overhead fluorescents). Some foil, measuring cups and olive oil would be great too. Communication was great. Thank you for a nice stay."

"Cute cozy cottage right on Penobscot Bay. Very thoughtfully supplied with honestly more updated conveniences and small appliances than we expected to find, given the rural setting. The spiral staircase to the bedroom was easily manageable. We did not mind the only bathroom being on the first floor. The view of the bay is just stunning. "This rental was clean and the perfect size. The view out back is breathtaking. This rental showcases all of the natural beauty that Maine is famous for. The air conditioning was cold and the water in the shower was hot. All linens were crisp and white. The driveway was a challenge to navigate, however it is manageable. We hope to stay here again."

"Bill was so very nice and 100% accommodating. His place was very neat and clean. The property is very well maintained, private and peaceful. His cousin , Darcy, lives 2 doors down and is readily available should there be any questions or concerns.We enjoyed the lions at night and the stars were mesmerizing along with the fireflies. "We had a great stay at Depatsy’s camp with our 10mo old son and pup. The house was cozy, spacious and had everything we needed. The house was in a perfect location with access to the water and kayaks/paddle boards. We spent a lot of time on the patio enjoying the view and using the fire pit. "We choose this place because it looks out over the water and everything you want or need is at walking distance, such as a restaurant and a coffeeshop. My wife and I both like art and there are two museums close by: the Farnsworth Art Museum and the Center for Maine Contemporary Art. Highly recommended!"

"Everything was great. It wasn’t a fancy hotel but beds were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Went for the Lobster Fest just had to park the car at arrival walking distance to festival, restaurants and stores was right there. Only downfall was the gazebo which was smoking area had a lot of weeds which could have caught fire if guest who smoked didn’t put their cigarette out. Groundskeeper needs to get rid of the weeds."
