"The breakfast was amazing! A very unique location and a place we would recommend"

"kitchen closed at 6pm and no breakfast available despite having paid for it so i got a refund and didn't check in."

"Food excellent and good value, room nice, clean, they left fresh milk in the room. All staff really friendly and helpful. would go again."

"Very spacious and clean room and great location"

"Excellent pub hotel in perfect location in centre of town. Thank you to Steve the Manager for warm welcome, hospitality and advice/tips. Would definitely stay again."

"Very busy weekend but beautiful hotel and great food"

"Staff both on reception and in the dining room were helpful, although at dinner we had to wait a long time before the food arrived. The main problem was that although the hotel wasn’t fully booked we were given a room (room 7) right on the very noisy road, over the bar and the outdoor festoon lights were on all night which filtered into the room. Had we stayed a second night we would have asked to be moved!"

"Due to age of building plus isolation it had some unique qualities but the staff were all lovely and the stay was enjoyable."

"Very friendly welcome. A well appointed, clean and comfortable room with modern conveniences. Situated in an ideal location in the heart of the town."

"A very nice inn."

"The cold tap in the bathroom was dripping. I feel that in this day and age the bath should be remove and a shower fitted. On a Sunday breakfast starts at 0900 rather that 0800 or 0830. We were required to attend a Remembrance Service and therefore missed the opportunity of having breakfast A light in the walk-in wardrobe would be helpful"

"Excellent breakfast and very friendly owners. We had avkarge bedroom that was very comfortable with a hot shower. Highly recommended"
