"The property was easily found by using a Sat Nav.
The property inside and outside was very clean. There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door.
The entrance was a wooden decking which had a range of colorful potted plants and well maintained.
The owner was very helpful with directions and places to visit and eat...

"A glorious stay in room 412 which for us (couple and 4y/o on a sofa bed) was absolutely perfect. Double balcony with the most wonderful views, well proportioned room with everything we could need and a very nice touch of a complimentary welcome Salcombe Gin & Tonic in our room!
Parking was convenient with the porter parking for us and was handled quickly and efficiently.
The pool facilities were beautifully clean and tranquil and enjoyed especially by our daughter on the child permitted hours.
Food and drink great too and friendly restaurant staff - would highly reccomend this hotel.

"We had an amazing room, The Penthouse, with beautiful views of the coast. Had a very warm welcome. We did repeatedly say the trip was to celebrate our Ruby wedding Anniversary but this was not acknowledged! The interior decor and setting is beautiful.
We had dinner and room service, food was nice but menu was the similar and a bit limited but other days we found so many nice places to eat. The breakfast was nice, especially eating on the terrace but was let down by having to make your own hot drinks at the buffet with poor quality tea bags. There were so many dogs even in the restaurant and unfortunately dog poo in the grounds although obviously this was the owners fault it was rather off putting. We had some lovely walks along the coastal path and down to the beach, very steep on the return! "

"Diana was most helpful, my messages were answered promptly & she was most informative.However I would not choose to book through VrboNext time , I would prefer to book with the host.The Apartment was fabulous, gorgeous view from our balcony , well equipped and spotlessly clean .The walk into Salcombe was only 10 minutes .Had lovely lunches at the Winking Prawn & Crab shack .Small things , but if would have been useful to have had a small jug of milk in the fridge for a cup of tea & a few dish washer tablets & a couple off bin bags."

"This has to be the loveliest house we have stayed in . Absolutely beautiful, everything was quality from bedding , towels to a kitchen I want . It had everything you could want . The location made it easy to get to beaches . Parking for all out cars and the garden was a dream , recommend getting the hot tub , we will be back "

"We had an amazing stay on East Soar Farm. The property was clean, comfortable and cosy, and was like a home from home. The log burner with an endless supply of logs was very welcome on the chilly nights.Our three young children had great fun spending time with the animals, including getting into the field with the newborn lambs and nursing them! Our children are desperate to return.The surroundings were beautiful, and there were a number of lovely walks along the coastal path, which was on the doorstep.Schalk and Marijke were wonderful hosts. Their communication before we arrived was extremely helpful and timely and they were readily available throughout our stay."

"Great apartment with lovely views. We were a party of four and had plenty of room. One balcony overlooks the car park and then onto the sea but still offered lovely views. The second balcony off the main bedroom directly overlooks the estuary.
The flat was clean although the pillows on the sofa were dusty and could do with a wash or replacing. All in all we had a great stay.
The south Sands Hotel and Harbour Beach Hotel both have good restaurants. Nothing hugely fancy but good with friendly service."
