"The hotel appeared nice, there did appear to be a bee/wasp nest near one of the exits. Otherwise the breakfast was really good (the coffee was just ok), the outdoor areas were well kept, the pool was clean and comfortable. The room was nice enough, though we got a suite expecting a full living area and a separate bed area. The room felt very cramped and appeared to be a normal sized room with a wall in the middle. The separation didn't even have a door so there was no real privacy. I would have rather saved money and payed for a regular room."

"My husband and i loved our stay this place is really charming, clean, beautifully appointed. Perfect 4plex right on the ohio river , great views , big deck to enjoy morning coffee . Open gourmet kitchen nice little living room/ dining area. Nice entryway Large 1 bedroom with view and balcony doors . The Bed was sooo comfortable! Loved the bedding You can tell that the owners/host put a lot of care into making things special for their guests. Great fast communication with Host . Close to the charming town of Marietta. We will definitely stay again "

"Stayed at this property twice now, meets our needs perfectly. Great location being downtown and walking distance to bars, restaurants and Marietta College. Property owner is very accessible and proactive with communications."

"Loved everything about the Hackett! Stayed in the Riley Suite and it was gorgeous! Had everything my sister and i needed for a perfect getaway and great location. Ate at the Galley twice and awesome food and service. "

"Hotel was poorly maintained. No toliet paper in rhe bathroom Elevators and hallways dirty. Hall way smelled od Marijuana "

"This is a wonderful, large, old house just a block from downtown Marietta and is also close to Marietta College and the city's historic district. The interior is incredibly spacious with amazing woodwork and other details throughout, and the furniture and bedding are very comfortable. One thing to note is that if you plan to cook (which we did not), the kitchen is somewhat limited. But in every other respect, it's just a perfect place, and we plan to return. "
