"My lodging was a pop up little cabin that had interesting design features that made for a comfortable and convenient stay. Accessed through a little semi covered atrium or vestible that had a table with chairs, bathtub, sofa what was sealed from rain by the roof and from lateral wind directed rain by an open mesh awning that could be shut but not locked leading to the cabin itself which had a larger than expected room with heater, air on, mini fridge, bathroom with shower, and fully blacked out curtains. I had never seen this type of design before. I really enjoyed it as it was well thought out, placing a premium on being able to enjoy the outdoors ie the vestible as the walls (open mesh tarp) are relatively open to the outdoors permitting draughts of cool, fresh air yet as the roof that covers the cabin extends over the vestible provides protection from the elements in bad weather. Would definitely stay again."

"We had a lovely stay at Pukawa Village. Our apartment, 15A, overlooked a beautiful garden and the stunning Lake Taupō, making every morning and evening feel incredibly special. The surroundings were so serene and peaceful , truly the perfect place to relax and unwind. Honestly, the view and atmosphere reminded us of Lake Como in Italy, yet we were right here in beautiful New Zealand. It felt like a hidden gem. The owners are such lovely people , very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The property is very well maintained, and you can really see the care they put into keeping everything in excellent condition. All the amenities were perfect and thoughtfully provided, making our stay very comfortable. The location is definitely a 10/10 , quiet, scenic, and absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommend staying here, and we would love to come back again! — Uditha, Sachi & Swati"
