"Very nice stay"

"This was the second time my wife and I stayed at Villa Caprichosa and we absolutely love it. Nadgee immediately recognized us as returning guests when she picked us up at the dock and greeted us with a warm, welcoming smile. I am sure she sees and meets numerous people but that alone got our visit off to a great start. Once we were at the property it was like being in our own private oasis. The first night we stayed in the Champagne Diamond which offers a private terrace overlooking the island and gave amazing views. The rest of our visit was spent in the Hidden Gem suite and I cannot express how much we enjoyed it. From the separate sitting room to the private pool to the private balcony with beach chairs perfect for enjoying the delicious Pina Coladas made by Basilio the bartender, we were thoroughly impressed with the property even more than on our initial visit. Anytime we wanted food, drinks or a ride somewhere on the island both Basilio and Christopher happily took care of us without delay. It was a truly incredible experience. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Taboga Island do it and do yourself a favor by staying at Villa Caprichosa. You will not be disappointed with whichever villa or suite you choose. And if you're lucky you'll get to meet Diane Burn, the owner who oversees this spectacular property. Taboga Island has become our go-to getaway location and Villa Caprichosa is where we will always stay. We look forward to returning for years to come. "

"It was everything that was advertised. Very clean and roomy. Great kitchen. Great views. Secure and safe. I would recommend and would stay again. It is about an hour and a half from the airport and transportation isn't cheap because of the distance. You can expect to pay a minimum of 100 each way. Once in the complex, rides around are pretty cheap to hit a local grocery store or restaurant. Uber works there and we were finding rides for 7 - 10. We went to Hawaii, which is a bar within walking distance and they have music many nights. Basic bar with drinks and a decent menu. We went to the tiki bar on the beach right next door. Nice atmosphere and the food and beverages were good. We ate at Kazca 21 which had good food, and we ate at Cafe Med which you need reservations for and was probably my favorite meal on the trip. We enjoyed REY grocery store and they have everything you need.We did a Panama Canal tour that was awesome, but again, the transportation was about 100 each way as it was back in Panama City. If I had it to do again, I would probably rent a car. The drive from the airport will be a little hectic getting out of the city, but just cruising around the condo area would be fine. Download Whats App and Google Translate. Almost everyone uses What's App to communicate and if you don't know Spanish, Google Translate came in very handy for us. "

"We had a very enjoyable stay at Playa Caracol. The unit was in excellent condition and well stocked with essentials. We suffered a number of service interruptions because of loss of electricity and internet. But these were suffered by all people at the resort. The property manager, Juan Bethancourth was an excellent help and helped immediately any time we had a problem. There was one major drawback - namely - the road from the main highway to the resort. There were hundreds of potholes, many as deep as two feet. These were a real bother. "

"We had a great stay at Casa de Campo Mia! The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The place was quiet and cute, with a billiards table, ping pong and a very nice pool. The location is also ideal, not too far from a few restaurants and grocery stores. Nueva Gorgona didn't have too many foreign tourists when we visited. Friendly locals and safe feeling when walking around during the day. Mia was our cozy home base for 3 days while we visited Valle de Anton and Playa Blanca areas. Playa Malibú is also a 5 minute drive away and was the best beach of the several beaches we visited within two hours drive of Panama City. Great experience overall! "

"The condo was adequate but very poorly outfitted with essentials. Had no internet for 6 days and the owner/property manager refused to answer our texts and emails and VRBO was not the least helpful. Never heard back from either one once the issue was resolved by a technician. No aplology. "

"The accommodations were just as described in the listing. The beds were comfortable and the views were great. We were able to take long walks on the beach and the pools were not over crowded. There were a few restaurants within walking distance and groceries stores within a 5 minute drive. We enjoyed our stay and Donna was very easy to communicate with. A great host"

"My daughter and I went to celebrate our birthdays. It was our first time in Panama and to Taboga Island. Eimy (caretaker) was very sweet and prompt. Tomas was suggested to us for some water activities. He took us around the island fishing. We caught several fish and had a blast! So we had him take us again the next morning and were successful again. He’s very nice! The view from the house and pool are amazing! We had street vendor drinks and food but also went to a couple of really nice restaurants. The beaches weren’t overcrowded. Our overall experience was wonderful ! We look forward to going back "
