"Jutta was a lovely host who made us feel very welcome. The property was clean light and just the right size for two. Situated in a lovely garden on the edge of town the centre accessible by bus or foot.it was so quiet. Great location to explore the Harz mountains. Overall very impressed with the value for money and the property as a whole.."

"We very much enjoyed our stay. The landlady is very nice and welcoming. The house is spacious, with 5 bedrooms. It is old, which has charm. But older buildings can have some draw backs. For instance, the downstairs bathroom can get a bit smelly/damp, but if you keep the door and window open you’ll have no problem there. The kitchen/diner is fitted for 8, which was nice and spacious with only the five of us. We really loved the patio."

"My grown up son and I wanted to explore the Harz area. This is the ideal place to stay, we didn't want to be tied to a Hotel. Using this Apartment gave us flexibility to come and go. Just a word of Caution the Steps up to it are quite steep. "

"Pros: We enjoyed the well-furnished rooms, cleanliness, and beautiful landscape. We were also able to walk onto a hiking trail directly from the property which led us up into the hills. The surrounding area is perfect for long or short hikes. Cons: Everything was great!"
