"My grown up son and I wanted to explore the Harz area. This is the ideal place to stay, we didn't want to be tied to a Hotel. Using this Apartment gave us flexibility to come and go. Just a word of Caution the Steps up to it are quite steep. "

"We very much enjoyed our stay. The landlady is very nice and welcoming. The house is spacious, with 5 bedrooms. It is old, which has charm. But older buildings can have some draw backs. For instance, the downstairs bathroom can get a bit smelly/damp, but if you keep the door and window open you’ll have no problem there. The kitchen/diner is fitted for 8, which was nice and spacious with only the five of us. We really loved the patio."

"The house was great; spaceous, very clean, well equipped and only 4 years old. Location was good. No wide view or something, but enough space to eat outside. City center is only a 10 minute walk. Supermarket a 5 minute walk. And you can hear the steamtrain multiple times a day! Great location for day trips by car. The Harz region has a lot to offer. Highly recommended! We had a wonderful holiday. Thanks a lot!"

"The location is excellent with a nice view through the forest to the fields. The interior is basic and sufficient. A bit more plates, cups, forks, knives and spoons would have been nice. Overall a beautiful location for hikes in the National Park."

"Toller Ferienpark, in noch tollerer Lage. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Dazugehöriger Eintritt ins Schwimmbad war super. Das Haus war sehr geräumig, hätte hier und da aber ruhig noch etwas sauberer sein können. Matratzenqualität ist verbesserungswürdig, auch die Kissen könnten ein Upgrade vertragen. Ausserdem würden wir uns wünschen, das Bettwäsche direkt in den Kosten dabei ist. Nichtsdestotrotz eine wunderbare, gepflegte Anlage mit Blick auf den Brocken. Tip Top."

"Wir sind mit unserem Hund Whisky ( neupfundländermischling) angereist. Der Garten ist schön gross und bietet viel Platz zum Toben .Wer mit kindern anreist findet eine schaukel und rutsche.. Allerdings bräuchten die Beete und Teich mal wieder ein paar liebevolle Hände...Die terrasse bietet platz zum Grillen und chillen... Im Haus selber ist es sehr gemütlich eingerichtet.Das Badezimmer ist sehr geräumig mit Whirlpool/Badewanne und Dusche... Die Schlafzimmer und anderen Räume sind eher klein...

Situated in a lovely garden on the edge of town the centre accessible by bus or foot.it was so quiet. Great location to explore the Harz mountains. Overall very impressed with the value for money and the property as a whole.."
