"The location was ideal - right in the center of the town area. The staff was very helpful to tell me what to do and where to eat - even had a list of restaurant options already printed1 I loved the "old timey" feel of my room, with a 4-poster bed, an electric fireplace, and Delft pottery accents around the room. If I'm ever back in Stowe, this is going to be my "go-to" place!"

"I get that the Inn is dated; it has to be over 100 years old, so it's not like a brand-new hotel. Despite the wear and tear that comes with age, the room was clean, the bathroom was spotless, and the bed was comfortable. The only downside to the stay was that the wifi was practically nonexistent in our room. We were in the building across from the reception/dining room building, which had excellent wifi. Maybe a few quality boosters would help. But we will return; the Inn has a charm to it."

"I needed the room for one night but wish I could have stayed longer! The booking process, great communication, precise instructions, and directions made my life easier after a long day of traveling. The unit was spotless and no smell. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and I had a good night sleep. I arrived late, so it was a nice surprise when I woke up to a beautiful morning on the Connecticut River! I did not utilize everything in the kitchen but it seemed well stocked with everything you need. If you need something to eat there is a place nearby called Farm to Fire I believe. My sandwich was good and they were very cordial and polite. Thank you Susan and Jeff for a wonderful stay!"

"Our second time at this property and it is just wonderful. Peace, serenity, and wildlife are abundant and the hot tub is a perfect addition. Well worth the stay year after year!!"

"It was a small Inn. No one bustling around. Quite. Panaramic view from my windows in the morning. Didn't see any deer. Dining room was small-1 large table and 6 chairs. Cozy. The innkeeper cooked breakfast. He asked the night before if I had any food allergies and what I might like to eat. He was very friendly. The room was very nice and clean. Internet access was very good. Had a private bathroom next door to my room. It was very nice, clean and modern. I felt comfortable taking a shower there. Good water pressure. Only drawback is-I'm short. The bed was quite high and had difficulty getting on it but I managed. Did have a good night's sleep. Suggested to the Innkeeper might be a good idea if he had a small stool in the room to make it more accessible. Hope his wife is doing well after her accident."
