"This ryokan was beautiful with a spacious room and great mountain views. The onsen was particularly nice with indoor and outdoor mineral baths, a cold plunge, and a sauna. There was also a private shower in our room if you aren’t interested in the onsen experience. The half board was good but served traditional local Japanese food - great for the adventurous eater but it may not be for everyone. Though I found enough familiar things to feel full at dinner and breakfast. It was a special place, great for relaxation but probably not appropriate for children. We wished we had more days there to soak in the natural surroundings and just relax. "

"Nestled up on the way to Mt Minobu, it's close to Kuonji Temple and the Ropeway, which you can reach on foot (though there is a bit of an incline.) The hosts were friendly and the room was exceptionally modern whilst set in a more traditional guesthouse building. Meals were also a highlight as they were well balanced and delicious. "

"Far away from Shibuya, we traveled over 3 hours via public transportation to get here. We arrived at night, and it was a nice adventure with family. My family really enjoyed the stay as it was immersive. There was a lot of detail to dinner and breakfast. We only stayed for 1 night for the morning prayer, which was an experience in itself. I enjoyed the long staircase which I didn’t get the chance to run up and be sore for the whole trip. There’s a lot to do here in terms of activity, and the staff is quite impressive being fluent in English. The price was a bit much for me, but with everything considered, it was worth it as it put a smile on my family face. I was in a land that I was not familiar with, but my experience was met with welcoming arms. My father bowed his head as he left out of respect."

"It was within comfortable walking distance from INAKITA station. It was the only available closest hotel when i booked for a last minute trip here a few days before. I found a familiar restaurant, SUKIYA nearby where I had my delicious lunch. Happen to stumble upon a cosy McDonald’s when I was exploring the area near Ina park where the cherry blossoms were in full bloom! There is a direct bus to the Takato Castle Ruins at Inakita Station. See the bus timing chart. Hotel was like a resort with a very nice public bath. The room is spacious, comfy with the usual Japanese standard toilet & bath."

The highlight of my stay was definitely the hot spring. The onsen was well-maintained, with crystal-clear, soothing water at the perfect temperature. There were both indoor and outdoor options, allowing me to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while soaking in the warm, mineral-rich water. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious, offering a variety of fresh and well-prepared dishes. The overall service was top-notch, and every staff member I encountered was polite and eager to help. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with comfortable accommodations and an amazing hot spring experience, I highly recommend Komagane Kogen Resort Linx. "I've used this hotel many times for more than one week at a time, but they never greet me such as "Welcome back!" or "Thank you for using the hotel always." They are always too business like. I hope they are a bit more friendly. The hotel is very comfortable to stay though!"
