"Do not let the outside view fool you. Yes, there were literally cows right outside of check in. Check in was pretty simple but you may have to "call" someone down as the check in is not staffed. Our room was recently renovated and was quite nice with a fridge and microwave. Bathroom had great water pressure. Make no mistake this place is the definition of "no frills" but it is the only game in town and our room was worth the price."

"Staff very friendly as always when we stay. Last time we stayed a storm/tornado came thru or strong winds and no power. Staff kept us all safe and taken care of"
"This was hands down one of the cutest most eclectic places I’ve ever stayed. The historical home was decorated so nice and the attention to detail was impressive. It was very comfortable, spacious and quiet. We stayed in Betty’s Attic. It was so cozy with unique sitting areas and numerous little cubbies and window seats. We even had a gorgeous clawfoot tub and a fabulous stand up shower. I just wish we could have stayed longer. The fresh bread and jam was a favorite too. A definite slice of heaven in a quaint little paradise town. It was perfect!❤️"
Clean, spacious, and fully renovated townhouse with modern charm and comfort.
10/10 Excellent
"The location was centrally located to area we needed. Wagner was very responsive and a pleasure. Although ww did not spend much time in the unit other than to sleep, we found the accomodations to be comfortable and clean. Will be back again !"
"Had a very enjoyable stay. Easy access to the property. Jay was good at answering questions we had. We enjoyed the hot tub. However, it was a little difficult to get the top open but that's on my end. Great selection of spices and amenities. Bring salt and pepper if used regularly. Also bring Toilet paper just in case :) The shower was nice. The beds were comfortable. If your short like myself using a stool may be necessary. The one power recliner doesn't lift all the way at the feet, but the other one works great along with the double recliner in the living room.Overall, amenities are close by and easy to access. The property is clean and well taken care of. Thank you Jay!"
Cozy Bungalow in the quaint small town of Louisburg!
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our stay and this VRBO had everything we needed and was comfortable, clean and was so like being at home. The owner/owners have created a beautiful home away from home. The covered patio and landscaping is so inviting and nice to sit outside in the evening or mornings having coffee and just relaxing "
"We just spent another wonderful week at this lake house! This is our second visit in 2 years and this review is simply a repeat of last year's review. Nothing has changed except a larger bed in main bedroom, a nicer ladder into the lake, and fewer life jackets in the closet. It's a lovely house in great condition with everything you need for a stay at the lake from towels to toys. There are 4 kayaks, 3 life jackets, beach towels, and all the swim toys you need. There are two living areas in the house which is really nice for families. The deck is covered and the outdoor furniture is in good condition. The area is quiet during the week but not too much activity on the weekend. Inside the house, the bath towels are big and fluffy and there are paper products for your use. We plan to stay here again next year!"
