"Writing about the estate where the little house is located, you are immediately with the old lady Signora Paula. She lives in the adjacent large apartment building. A fine, nice and attentive hostess, open to all questions and possible problems. The property is huge and resembles a park with a large stand of large shade trees. "It hurts to give middling ratings. The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. "

Wonderful Otranto hotel
"Absolutely lovely hotel just outside the old town of Otranto. Beautifully designed and very comfortable with 2 levels of outdoor patio with seaside views. There is a gym and spa and a jacuzzi for use (small fee). Great breakfast and comfortable beds! "
