"Excellent hotel, superb staff who went out of their way to welcome and take care of us, top-notch food and helpful & efficient staff in the restaurant, very comfortable room and bed, overall superb. Downtown San Jose is interesting but a bit tatty, though a very prominent security presence was very comforting (though we did not tour after dark). The area is visually attractive but too full of souvenir shops, rather like New York's Times Square in the1980s. But the hotel itself more than compensated for the lack of neighborhood ambience. "

I arrived 2 hours earlier than check in (unplanned) and the staff was very accommodating and was able to check me into a room as soon as possible. "

"Perfect spot to stay next to San Jose city-center. Everything is walkable from this small hotel which is half a block from the main square. Staff is very nice, helpful, English-speaking, and accommodating. Free breakfast is large and lots of choices. Room was HUGE and very clean, bathroom was very modern, and the bed was comfortable. High marks!!"

"Excellent service, great staff, nice clean hotel. The breakfast included was very good. Great location, huge park next door. Good exchange rate given at the front desk. The only negative was the hotel restaurant and hotel boutique, very expensive and not good value. Better to eat and shop elsewhere. I would stay ther again."
