"If you are going to Bar Harbor I highly recommend staying here. The location was relaxing and quiet, town is about 10 minutes away. The book of information on the table was fantastic. Everything that we needed was available to make our hiking trip enjoyable. The owners Gayle & Rob are fantastic and very knowledgeable. "Quiet and comfortable apartment for a couple, conveniently located just a few minutes from the main Acadia Visitors Center. Kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals when you aren’t dining in Bar Harbor. We stayed a full week which was long enough to hit the Acadia highlights. Host was very responsive and helpful. We’ll book this VRBO again if we return to Acadia."

"My family and I stayed two nights in august for the Luke Combs concert at the Maine Savings Amphitheater. The home was super clean and updated and felt like we were staying at a friend’s house rather than a short term rental. "The unit is above a garage. There's plenty of privacy and it's very well set up, provided that you don't expect to cook food - which the hosts tell you is not allowed. There is a small fridge, hot pot and Keurig with mugs, paper cups, utensils etc. We had every convenience we wanted and greatly enjoyed our stay. It is only about 15 minutes from Acadia National Park."

"The uniqueness of the property was very inviting. Everything about the stay was very comfortable and it's a very quiet location.I was able to go for a nature walk just .1 miles away and bike to a beach that was 2.4 miles away. It was a bit of a distance from Bar Harbor but a lovely scenic drive to get there and back. Alan was a wonderful host and we did a lovely campfire one of the evenings."

"James is an excellent host. My husband and I recommend this stay. Very clean. Full size kitchen is like home++. The upstairs 2-bedroom apartment is comfortable and quiet. Thick towels. Beds and pillows excellent. Water pressure in shower and washer/dryer downstairs in the garage -- both great. James will offer quarters for the washer/dryer if you forget to bring. The location is not far from Acadia National Park and the Quietside of Mount Desert. A terrific home base from which to explore Acadia...
