La Playa Orient Bay

"We have stayed at La Playa for the last 5 years. This is a great location for people not wanting to drive after dark. The restaurants of Orient Village or Ti Palms are right next door. Excellent French and Italian dining! There is a small grocery even closer that has a good selection and will save you a trip to the Match or Super-U. If you want to skip the included breakfast, the Good Morning is a great alternative for French pastries. We do not use the beach at the hotel, only because we meet up with friends on another part of the beach. This year, we noticed that the included breakfast buffet has improved with increased fruit and pastry selections. However, minor things like salt and pepper shakers not working still persist. Also improved is the TV channel selection with the addition of the Miami network stations. We stayed 15 nights this time. The bed was comfy, the refrigerator kept my Heineken cold, and the air-conditioning was killer! La Playa is my recommendation for anyone wanting to stay on the French side in the Orient Beach area."

Villa Turquoze, an astonishing view on Orient Baie

"This is such a beautiful property! The host Alex met us at the house and went over the home with us. He was very helpful and very responsive. The house was conveniently located to restaurants, wine shops and grocery stores. The rooms were big and each bedroom had a bathroom which was very nice! The beds were very comfortable and every room had a great view! I loved the work out room down stairs as well. After the beach we would make a cheese and meat tray and everyone would hang out in the pool and relax. The view was amazing! I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!!"

"Beautiful house, several minute walk to Coco Beach and the OB Plaza where the restaurants are. Luvie met us upon our arrival, was great explaining everything and keeping the house clean. Overall great place to stay in OB. "

"Julie was extremely kind and helpful. She had suggestions of places to stay and see. We had a bit of an issue with our room on one of the nights and she took the time to show us other rooms and place us elsewhere in the vicinity, which felt above and beyond! All the rooms are gorgeous and feel like luxury."

"Beautiful studio with a wonderful view. Everything was perfect. We look forward to coming back and staying in this location. We had a private parking place in the complex that was great and made our stay even nicer. Chantel our host was superior. This is the place to stay when coming to St. Martin."

"The unit was perfect…two en-suite king bedrooms, fully appointed kitchen, very nice dining room and living room. The host Leonard and daughter Miranda were so helpful both leading up to the trip and during our stay. The St Martin government needs to do work on roads in the neighborhood, but the location was very convenient to both Orient Bay and Grand Case. The only downside was the TV and spotty Internet, but it worked when I needed it for a Zoom work call. Nice find!"
