This beautiful 3600 sq foot retreat is ideally located and conveniently close to everything awesome in the OC, with easy access to all major freeways so you can get to where you are going with ease.

This suburban art inspired tropical retreat is a pristine and well-appointed city of Orange residnece with all the finer pleasures included. Pet friendly with a relaxed venue, peaceful hues and artistic decor merge with functionality and attention to detail. With everything you need to achieve a ‘high value’ Southern California experie for you and your family, furry or human or both!

Charmingly designed and eclectically decorated with discerning accommodation, complete with luxurious essentials, this easy flow and stylistic unit fits even the most gregarious and picky of families.

You are also welcome to venture beyond your exclusive private deck and patio and enjoy the main house tropical backyard with tropical gardens, fruit trees, gas fire pit and seating, Jacuzzi/spa with a outdoor flat screen TV with a view of the fountain area. (These are non-exclusive areas that are also used by the owners and their pets but usually we stay clear of these shared use areas when we have guests) Our Furry guests (your furry family) is welcome to accompany you when you are enjoying the main backyard areas, and we encourage our furry friends (and their owners) enjoy a cocktail in the hot tub while watching their favorite shows on the outdoor flat screen TV or observing all the birds and wild life that frequent the lush property. W e are right around the corner (literally) from Yorba Park, an off leash dog
Retreat Detail: Rooms all have hardwood floors, bathroom is marble and tile with granite countertop. Kitchenette countertop is granite, floor tile w/ oak eating bar. Guest home boasts crown moldings, wains coating in balcony room, 6 panel doors, 6 inch floor trim, and floor to ceiling mirrored wardrobes with built in closet organizers. There is air conditioning and heat, and ceiling fans in the living room and master bedroom. The French doors have disappearing screens.

And ..... an off leash dog park YORBA PARK which is only a 1/4 mile away!

We had a great time staying here, there was plenty of room for the four of us and the host were absolutely wonderful. It’s in a great location central to the theme parks, beaches, food and entertainment, in a great area. We stayed for five nights, everything was clean and we enjoyed the hot hub, snacks and all that Orange had to offer thanks to the nice detailed welcome packet from the host. You can’t go wrong booking this wonderful getaway, we’ll be back for sure!

Silvia’s place is as described! The accommodations and amenities were great! My husband and I stayed with our two teenage children and there was plenty of room for everyone. The use of the hot tub was an added bonus and Silvia didn’t miss a thing with making us feel welcome! Would definitely recommend!

My two sister and I met up for a fun beach and Disneyland weekend together. We loved hanging out in the hot tub in the evenings, enjoying coffee on the patio in the morning, and having easy access to the beach and Disneyland! Our host was so sweet! There was a personalized welcome message from Silvia as well as a complimentary bottle of wine that was lovely.

This is a very charming, thoughtful and immaculate home. I brought my dog who also loved it! Very well stocked with first aid kits, lotions, lovely plush towels, lots of cable TV options, adorable decor, drinks, etc. The dog park is a 5 minute walk and you can also easily walk to Target too to pick up any supplies. Overall I had an excellent stay and would definitely come back!

Brought my family for a weekend trip to Disney. This place was amazing! Plenty of room for my husband and I and our 3 kids. They have games, toys, and complimentary snacks! The private outdoor area was perfect for winding down after a long day. The hot tub was a huge plus after spending 6+ hours a day at Disney. The property is right off of a freeway but you would never guess it while you are there. Definitely would book again if returning to the LA area.

We loved this place!! My husband, 2 adult sons and i stayed here for a week. There was plenty of room to spread out and the outdoor space was perfect for relaxing. I especially like all the special touches - complementary drinks and snacks. Most places supply shampoo and conditioner but Home Away went above and beyond with suntan lotion, bug spray, slippers and robes if needed among other things. We come to California twice a year to visit family and this place was within a 10 minute drive from them. Perfect for us! We will be staying here in the future! Many thanks for a peaceful oasis

This was a guest true oasis. The time and effort the host put in to make this a welcoming place is amazing. From the humans to the dogs. I honestly hate to give such a glowing review because I will be traveling to OC a lot in the year to come and hope this place is available. They had snacks, drinks, and even stuff for our dog!! In describing it to others parents on my daughter water polo team I had a lady behind me say “I want to stay there and I live here!” The house is right off the freeway, easy on and off but you can’t hear it! It was just and overall great place to stay with a great host.

The property is super cute and the owner offers a lot of snacks and beverages. The kitchen is almost unusable with one burner and a tiny sink which barely fits a plate. There is one outlet location for the ref, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender etc in a place where there is no countertop. I do not recommend cooking here. The second bedroom is also part of the living room and bar space (kitchen)which felt awkward. Although the owner means we’ll, the property was not for us

Very clean and updated. Loved the extra perks with snacks and drinks provided. We enjoyed the patio & barbecue area as well as access to the jacuzzi! Very private apartment even though it adjoins to a house. The only drawback was the sleeping arrangements. It is advertised as sleep for six. So we planned on 3 couples but the day bed has no trundle, it is only a twin size. Also the pullout couch had no linen sheets to size. The main bedroom had a very squeaky bed, although it was comfortable. We made do but it does not sleep 6 adults. All in all we would stay there again but with less people. PS- lots of tv channels and Netflix movies & good WiFi.

The listing did not make it clear that this is simply three rooms sectioned off in the second floor of a modest home, with a very thin shared wall with the residents. Didn't realize how thin until the last day when we heard someone cough and it sounded like they were literally in the room with us. Super creepy. Perhaps the worst part was the overwhelmingly bad odor of dogs and plumbing issues. Appreciate the owner's efforts to compensate with some complimentary beers and snacks, but that was not enough. This was an expensive place to stay -- next time we will definitely go with a hotel close to Disneyland.

This was a great spot! The private courtyard was great for us and my dog. The house is very clean and stocked with yummy snacks. The bed is very plush. The only “issues” were that when in the house you share a wall and locked door with the owner and family so you can hear each other AND the whole place smelled like pets. Those two things were a bummer but overall this is a great place!

Good location in Orange, CA. We used it for 2 weeks while moving between houses and getting work done. It would be a great "home base" for anyone vacationing in OC. We wish we would have taken advantage of the patio and grill, mostly we just were there after school and work to sleep. Being able to do laundry was a huge plus. They are also SUPER pet friendly. 5 min walk to the dog park. My pups had treats waiting from the hosts.

We've been planning to see our kids dance in the Disney dance program for over 2 years now, but due to COVID the program was cancelled. We finally got to go, but the place we had a credit from 2020 for was booked for the dates we needed. Luckily, we found Silvia's amazing place- and now I'm glad the other location was booked. We arrived in the early morning hours and check in was simple. She left the lights on for us and everything was ready when we arrived. The bedding and mattress were AMAZING! by far the most comfortable I've ever been in, and it made it hard to get up and going each day. I even took pictures of the labels so when it's time for me to upgrade at home, I'll be looking up that brand. I took advantage of that hot tub; it was perfect after a long day at the Disney parks and my sore feet and legs loved unwinding in their beautiful back yard. The ambiance was beautiful and relaxing. We got to see our kids dance down Main Street, the teenagers loved having privacy in the den area, and the kitchenette had everything we needed. All the extra amenities, snacks, drinks, and spa/bathroom things made us feel so pampered and special! We immediately started planning when we could come back and spend more time there. We didn't hear or see the host family the entire time we were there, and the only sad thing about our stay is that we didn't get to meet their doggies. But maybe next time! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

What an incredible host! Not only was our stay very comfortable and convenient, but our little fur baby was in heaven with the extra attention from our host family.❤️ 👀 If you need a convenient place close to Disney (15 min. drive), Target for those last minute essentials (2 minute drive around the corner), great food choices (all within 5 min.), and a dog park (a 3 minute walk), please stay here!!
