For shopping, dining, and live entertainment, you can't go wrong with a visit to the Wharf, just six miles away, or SanRoc Cay Marina, less than three miles up the coast. Arrange a fishing excursion through Zeke's Landing Marina, only two miles from your rental. And if you're looking to spend some time outdoors, explore the 6,500 acres of Gulf State Park, accessible via the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail, less than two miles down the road.

Things to Know
Please note that group rentals are not allowed at Summer House on Romar Beach. No more than 5 units may be rented for groups of any kind. Any bookings found to be in violation of this policy will result in a fine of $500.

The location was great! 2nd floor didn’t have to wait for elevator and the view of ocean and pool was beautiful! There was construction going on so outside was not finished! The room was nice and spacious! Loved the outdoor space!

This property was nicely decorated and located conveniently on the second floor which made it easy to just take the stairs! It was also plenty big enough for our party of 7! Loved the separate ice machine, too! We enjoyed our stay and had a great family vacation!

We loved the location of the condo in relation to the pool and beach. The corner balcony gives plenty of room to spread out. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable! I would stay there again if the mattresses are updated!

Everything was great. I give a 9 only because we had to drive through gulf shores was to pick up parking passes. If everything else comes through the app or via email/text (gate and door code), it is just silly to have to sit in traffic for parking passes. If printable parking passes were available through the app as well - 10/10. Our condo was close to where the beach express lets out on perdido beach blvd, so we could have saved an hour or so in travel time.

Starting off very disappointing! Ask for an early checkin and had no response. We did receive checkin info, so we went to condo an hour and half early. It wasn’t cleaned yet. So I called to let them know. We left and came back at 4. Still not cleaned! We had to take pics send to Vacasa (no local person with this unit) waited another 2 1/2 hours. It was after 7:30 before we could go to room. Luckily my husband and I went to check and we could hear the cleaner person inside. All that to say NO ONE ever contacted us to make sure we had a place to stay for the night! NO ONE contacted us to to inform us the room had been cleaned. NO ONE informed us a water line had burst that morning, and the condo building had no water. Thankfully we had water the following morning. Still 4 days later not a word from Vacasa. The unit was nice, the view was beautiful and the location was great. Main issue is you have no one local to help if you have a problem! From now own I will make sure there is a local manager for the property before I rent.

Nice location and great balcony. Other than that, just know there are no essentials, not even salt and pepper. No pot holders or dish towels either. Only one burner on the stove worked. Very noisy in the morning (maintenance, gates, dumpsters), so it’s not a good place to be able to sleep in if that’s important to you..

Felt like the room was dirty at checkin. My kids feet were black after 3 hours of being in the condo. Couldn’t find a vacuum. Furniture was stained. The sun never shined on the deck like in the photos . Did like the easy access to the pool and beach.

The beds are super uncomfortable. We used a blow up mattress to lay on top of the bed frame in one bedroom. We had ants coming in the sliding doors off the balcony. I sent a text to the number that was left for us to contact and no one ever called, texted or came by to address the issue. Also, the vent in the master bath did not work. We used a box fan after showers to air out the bathroom.

Great location. The condo being on the second floor and close to the stairs was incredibly convenient. Condo was clean and had everything needed for the stay. Only thing missing was a broom or vacuum to tackle the sand on the floor. However, that wasn’t a huge issue. We would definitely rent this condo again

We really enjoyed this fully furnished home. There were adequate kitchen supplies for all needs, even the outdoor common grill area at the NE side of the building. The wrap around porch was very large. There was plenty of seating on the porch overlooking the pool and the Oceanview. The sheets were clean and bedding was ample for our group of 8 people. Furniture was clean and the home was very welcoming to us. It even has an Ice-Maker separate to the Freezer for your beach cooler. Laundry was in the condo and there was a nice sized dinner table as well. Very nice place to stay for our group!

Our experience was great. The condo was nice. Had a few minor maintenance issues but nothing major. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink, not all of the stove eyes would heat up and the ceiling fan in the living room did not work and the Wifi wasn't very strong. Like I said, nothing major just items you all may not be aware of that would make it better. Overall, everything was wonderful. Everyone I spoke with while planning the vacation was very accommodating and extremely nice.
