"The manager at the front desk is terrible. We witnessed problems with other guests and had a very unprofessional attitude. At one point he tried to persuade my wife that in this hotel a king bed is considered 2 singles pushed together. The rest of the staff were excellent. "

Sea view perhaps should be described as sea side as alot of trees look like they obstruct view. Very comprehensive buffet breakfast with outdoor garden seating when weather permits. Very close to beach and pleasant walk via prom to centre. 2 negatives: they charge 15 euros a night to park when local car park (300 meters away)and on street is free plus...

"This grand old lady sits in an ideal part of town. Her walls i am sure could tell many a tale. Ours was that we had a great stay. The room was spotless, modern and comfy. Meals are served in what i suspect is the original ballroom. Faded grandeur applies here. Some of the other public areas are showing some age. Breakfast was amazing. We also had the evening buffet that was very good and exceptional value. Everyone we met from the staff was helpful and cheerful. Couldn't ask for...
