"The manager at the front desk is terrible. We witnessed problems with other guests and had a very unprofessional attitude. At one point he tried to persuade my wife that in this hotel a king bed is considered 2 singles pushed together. The rest of the staff were excellent. "

Breakfast buffet was also incredible and included with the room. Views on the outdoor veranda are beautiful too. Do yourself a favor and stay here. The surrounding area is also quite beautiful. Lots of upscale shopping and restaurants. "

"This grand old lady sits in an ideal part of town. Her walls i am sure could tell many a tale. Ours was that we had a great stay. The room was spotless, modern and comfy. Meals are served in what i suspect is the original ballroom. Faded grandeur applies here. Some of the other public areas are showing some age. Breakfast was amazing. We also had the evening buffet that was very good and exceptional value. Everyone we met from the staff was helpful and cheerful. Couldn't ask for...
