"Quiet semi rural location in an area close to lots of fun things to do and see. Beds were comfortable, home was clean and well stocked in the kitchen with items for cooking or heating food. Alexandre was very responsive and met us at the property both checking in and leaving. We had a good stay."

"We had an amazing visit to the heart of the Loire Valley. This is a beautifully renovated old building in the quaint old village of Larcay. A 2 minute walk to the river or an amazing little restaurant called Les Planchettes. Easy access to Tours and the many castles and vineyards in the area. It feels like travelling back in time but with all of the modern amenities. Thanks to Sylvain and Adele for everything, including the welcome bottle of delicious Vouvray! Highly recommended."

"Beautiful place and people. Frederic is a wonderful host. He allowed early check in and attended to all of our needs. There are stairs to the bedrooms, he carried our luggage up and down. The property vastly exceeds the description and certainty our expectations. There are many châteaux and wineries. Frederic helped us with our itinerary. We would very much love to return."

Lawrence was very kind to keep a parking spot for us next to the rental apartment so it would be easier for us to unload our luggage. "We absolutely loved this place! Everything was neat and clean, perfectly posh for our family. We loved that we were a little outside of the city but close enough to hop in our rental car and visit the Sunday market and shops. It was our favorite home rental during our stay in France. The owner was gracious and helpful with any questions we had. If we ever get back to Amboise, we will be staying here again!"

"Three friends visited the Loire for six nights. This property is very charming, and well-suited for two couples or two friends, as it has two bedrooms with ensuite baths at either end of a renovated home for privacy. Do take note that the stairs are steep! ( But this IS Europe!) There are delightful touches throughout. Elisabeth is charming and very accommodating. I recommend it without hesitation."
