"Couldn't be in a better spot to tour both the Alta and Bassa, beautiful location, we arrived on Saturday and although the area was super busy with people having a good time, when we got into the room and shut the windows it was really quiet! Room was lovely, nespresso was a bonus too! Few minutes was from all the shops, restaurants and cafe’s are a stones throw away. "

"Not as advertised. Phoned to arrange check in but no one spoke English. Finally got a customer to translate who advised to come at 5 to check in (half an hour later than advertised). When we arrived the bar and restaurant were closed. Only one member of staff there who could not speak English which was advertised on the site. The room was very basic with outdated decor. "We stayed 2 nights at this lovely hotel. Full of character, warm and cosy on chilly weekend in March. The staff were friendly and helpful and were made to feel very welcome especially by Massimo on our arrival which was quite late evening. The small town of Calolziocorte is very pleasant and the location of the hotel by the river is lovely. "This hotel is very beautiful inside! The overstuffed sofas in the lobby area are so inviting and comfortable. The receptionist that welcomed us was a very distinguished gentleman who answered all our questions and was friendly. Our room was full of color and welcoming. The bathroom is very clean and spotless. In the morning I took pictures of our place throughout the inside. The shade in the bedroom didn’t work and thus made it difficult to open the window, but I was able to make it work. ( there is no A/C). The best part of our overnight stay was the free breakfast. Everything was delicious and perfect in every way (the hotels in the USA could learn something). Hot dishes were hot. Delicious coffee!! Everything was fresh and tasty. The variety of foods was astounding!! Bless the two ladies that kept the food coming and the eating area clean. "
