"My friends and I are from Pittsburgh and we wanted to take a trip together before my wedding. We only wanted to drive 2 or 3 hours from home. We ended up choosing Ashtabula and it's a nice town with a nice beach. Unfortunately the beach closest to the house is poor quality and dirty. Lots of geese and smelly geese droppings all throughout the sand. Walnut beach is a short drive away and I recommend it over Lake shore park if you're looking for a beach. The concession stand at lake shore park though is very good. Walnut beach is much cleaner and larger so I would go there instead for a beach day. We were confused how to turn on the shower but the host responded to our messages right away. We all had a great time! There were 5 of us total and we had plenty of space. "
