Beautiful location but 3 nights is not enough! We will stay at least 4 nights next time.

This house was exactly what we were looking for...secluded at the end of the island with stunning views. The property had everything we needed and was not too far from Mt. Constitution, Obstruction Pass, or the village.

Our family enjoyed the quiet and beautiful views of this home. It was well maintained, clean, well appointed kitchen, wood burning stove all created a welcoming and cozy home. I would highly recommend this home.

The house was lovely and felt like home. We enjoyed lounging in the living room and spotting wildlife.

We thoroughly loved our stay here! The view is absolutely breathtaking. Seals performed daily! The house is great but we did not know there was just one shower. We loved the entire island and being there a week we think we saw a lot of it! Sailing, hiking, great meals; it was a A+ vacation!!

If you love wildlife just sit on the back deck and wait. Keep an eye on the whale watching boats, if they stop grab the binoculars.

If you are looking for quiet and privacy, this is your spot! Pristine home, perched on a outcropping of boulders & wall of glass looking East to Mt Baker. No neighbors unless you include eagles, seals & all kinds of birds. Includes all amenities you need except bring your own coffee. You are 25 minutes northeast of Eastsound, so can't run out to the store easily. Note: driveway ends in very steep 15 yard down slope. Feels precarious. From driveway, stairway to home is 15 steps, would be an issue for anyone that needs walking assistance. And no yard for kiddos to play.

I love the quiet; the animal activity; the water activity; the open floor plan. Easy to have privacy in this house. Comfortable furnishings.

The highlight of our whole stay on Orcas was the deck. Seals, Otters, porpoise, eagles but no orcas. Bring good binocs and sunscreen and enjoy! If you are physically challenged look carefully at the stairs - only way in and out. Getting down to the waters edge also requires a little balance and dexterity. The house and kitchen has everything you would need and more. Very quiet and private and little traffic so biking and walking the surrounding area very comfortable. No luck fishing or crabbing but fun to try. Seventeen days there and still didn’t want to leave.

10/10

Awesome view and a very nice house, will definitely try to stay here on a return visit.

Our family enjoyed the spacious layout and comforts. The unit was well provided for and clean. We loved the proximity to the water in a beautiful, remote part of Orcas. We've stayed 4 times in this area, past Olga. We avail ourselves of Bucks Bay for its new outdoor cafe, great oysters and food; also nearby Doe Bay.

We loved our stay here. So comfortable, peaceful, quiet, serene. Had breakfast with the otters. Loved the sound of the waves lapping against the shore. Heavenly.

Great view, we saw porpoises, seals, deer and eagles from the house.

An incredible location; only regret is that our stay was too short (just 3 nights). Saw whales and orcas from the deck (with binoculars). Explored the area but ended up spending evenings at the house- so peaceful and beautiful!

We enjoyed the amazing views from the livingroom windows. Enjoyed watching the sea lions find higher ground on the Peapod Islands as the tide came and went. The home is updated, comfortable and quiet. Loved the heated bathroom floor downstairs. Kitchen was updated. Home was clean. Took wonderful walks on the secluded backroads. Enjoyed the scenery and took advantage of the movies offered when it was too windy to be on the deck. Would come again. Book your ferry tickets early- we had no trouble with our ferry experience.

The view and very quiet setting were wonderful. In fact, we enjoyed the deck so much that we skipped most of the hiking and kayaking adventures we had planned over the week. From the deck and living room we saw countless eagles catching fish, whales, and seals- we also really enjoyed watching a swallow family building a nest in a nest box just off the deck. The house was also very clean and comfortable- the kitchen was well stocked. It was the relaxing week we needed and hope to return.

We loved this home away from home. The home itself was clean and cozy and just perfect for our family of 3. It had every amenity we needed for a comfortable stay. The view will knock your socks off! From the deck we saw two Orcas, countless porpoises, seals, otters, and bald eagles - incredible! We also saw deer around the house everyday. We loved the peaceful location and didn’t mind driving to Moran State Park, Observation Point, or Eastsound. My only complaint is the lack of window coverings in the bedrooms, with the long summer nights and early sunrises it made it difficult to get our child to sleep.

We loved our stay in this homey house. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but you can't beat it once you arrive. It's a short drive to places like Moran State Park, Doe Bay Cafe and Buck Bay Shellfish Farm. Eastsound is about 25 minutes if you need to stock up on provisions or want a little more activity. The view from the deck was peaceful and serene - great place for a cup of coffee in the morning and a book in the evenings The bedrooms are comfortable. The kitchen is tiny but well stocked, including spices. Plenty of books, magazines and puzzles to keep you busy as well. It was the perfect spot for our family (including kids aged 10 and 6).

This house was everything we wanted. completely isolated and private. cannot see the neighbors from either side. You reach it on the end of a dirt road that had a beautiful forest and many deer. The views Are every bit as good as the photos. it is fully equipped and has really nice furniture, pottery and art in the house. Beautiful flowers and landscaping in front. Nothing really like sitting in the easy chair in the morning with a cup of coffee in the living room looking out over the water watching wildlife. we saw harbor seals and an eagle land in the tree right in front of the window. Lots of deer, humming birds and even a mink. (Not an otter). was you can climb down onto the rocks and take a very cold dip in the water if you were so inclined and I was. Caught a large crab. Fell asleep every night to the sounds of water lapping on rocks just feet from the very comfortable bed. Used the grill one night and sat out on deck. The heated tile floor in the master bath was a nice touch, emend in summer! The only down side of this property is that it about as far as you can get from the ferry and still be on Orcas! A good 40 minute drive. It is however close to Olga, Moran park, Doe Bay, obstruction Pass, and Rosario. I highly recommend this property!

We arrived to a spotless, gorgeous, and wonderfully secluded home. It was dreamy! Because of the breathtaking views and the joy of watching an abundance of marine wildlife, it was several days before we could make ourselves leave the premises to explore the island. We wished we'd booked 3 weeks instead of 2!

Spacious, well equipped, gorgeous view!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this secluded and private house. Situated right on the water, it was so nice to unwind on the deck and take in the beauty of the ocean. While we didn't get to see any orcas in the vicinity, we saw seals, porpoises, and bald eagles. Perhaps I missed it in the description when I booked the house, but do be aware this house is accessed by a dirt road. It was not a problem for our car though. We had a great time and would recommend this home for anyone looking to get away from it all!
