"The owner and his staff made sure we were well taken care of. Firstly, with the parking: as it is within the borders of the old city one cannot park and drive in all places so he ensured we got in with all our bags while he parked the car for us. The receptionist was super helpful in letting us know where the car would be, how to access it in case we needed to, informed us of all the important details like where to drop off the key as well as marked all the information on the map that was good to know. The room itself had comfortable beds and was very clean. The location was perfect as it was just outside the walls of the castle. Very convenient. "

"Simply put, this hotel is the best in split. It’s in the middle of old town, everything is walkable. The hotel is kept in immaculate shape. Everything in it is upgraded. The rooftop is amazing it gives you spectacular views of the city. The staff is unmatched. I never write reviews but this hotel definitely deserves one. "

"My husband & I visited Split with our two children ages 6 & 9. We stayed for 2 nights and Hotel Kastel had everything we needed. It had a beautiful view from outside the bedroom windows, close distance to everything you could need in Split! If you have a car, the parking offered off-site is quite a ways away from the hotel, but that was told to use in advance. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hotel Kastel!! "

"Excellent location in the old town of Split. Easy to get to and near everything you need to see. Our room was very clean, modern and beautiful bathroom with spacious new shower cubicle. The hosts were very friendly and great with communication. They let us store our bags after check out and also assisted us by carrying our luggage down the stairs. "
