Top Old Brick School Hotel Reviews
Days Inn by Wyndham Athabasca
8/10 Good
"We stayed one night if Aug 2026. Check In was quick and easy but I wondered what maintenance would be like when I saw the staff chair at front desk was extreme worn. Pleasantly surprised in the room that was very clean and even had apartment size fridge. Beds were very clean and comfortable but the tv needed replacement which when reported the staff said they were working on that and if it didn’t work at all they would make it a priority. The breakfast was good for our road trip, even bacon sausage with the scrambled eggs. However the has browns were nasty. Also we were told no bowls for cereal. They were on order! A little pricey at $165 plus tax but there’s limited supply."
Twilight Country Motel
8/10 Good
"It is an older building but very clean. The bed was comfortable. Staff helpful and friendly."
Charming Vintage Rabbit Farmhouse Escape
10/10 Excellent
"We did a long weekend family trip with our adult children at this property. We loved the space and were pleasantly surprised by how many extras came with the booking. We had access to top floor of barn with table tennis, multiple lawn games, plenty of outdoor seating and eating options. The fire pit was well stocked with wood, trails around the property were well kept and we enjoyed exploring them. It's a beautiful area on the upper ridge of the Tawatinaw Valley and is within easy driving distance of several lakes. The interior is charming with its slanty, creaky floors, skinny hallways and steep stairs. It's an old house, and it's proud to be an old house, complete with antique appliances, tableware and original art. We had a great time here and look forward to returning."
Muskeg Creek Suite
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property and stay. I did not want for anything! Randy responded immediately to any concerns I had. It was clean and modern and conveniently located. We will stay again and again!"
Beautiful Wilderness Retreat Cabin 1.5 hours north of Edmonton!
10/10 Excellent
"The cabin was beautiful and peaceful. Also was well stocked with supplies. We really appreciated the history told to us by the owner Rick. Rick was a very kind and caring host. He made our stay very pleasurable. The only down fall was the hot tap water had a very fowl smell."
Athabasca Hillside Motel
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was very friendly and helpful, the parking lot was steep though. Hence "Hilltop Motel" lol "
