"The staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. We needed to check out quite early in the morning and could not stay for the hot breakfast, so the staff prepared and packed breakfast the night before for us to take with us when we checked out. We also appreciated the extensive amenities and skincare products on offer; the huge bed; and how clean our room was. ありがとうございました!"
"Amazing place for relaxation and getting away! Five stars doesn’t do it justice, would give it ten stars! The meals were out of this world. Highly recommend the Hakuin suite. "
"Steps away from a white sandy beach in a very quiet isolated location, this place is a treasure. It is also steps away from a really nice Indian beachfront restaurant and a small glass-bottomed boat launch pier. We loved staying there. The proprietor is especially friendly."
"Fantastic hotel, staff extremely friendly - interior is very stylish and the location is great. Plus you get free access to the lounge, can't recommend it more"
"Great to traveling with friends, easy to access to shopping area and walk in residential neighborhoods. Self-checking with kiosks, should make sure to have email notification before you arrive."

ASHITOMI HOUSE
2/10 Terrible
"Multiple messages and phone calls to the owner went unanswered. I had to find a new place to stay at midnight and still went ignored through the following day. They took my money and ran. If I could give this no stars I would. I booked this months in advance, reviews were good. Just wish I wasn't out several hundreds of dollars, I'll be filing a claim with VRBO"
"Come stay here if you drive. The room, the view from the balcony and the public bath looked just like that in the pictures, pleasant. We came for the onsen and the view and completely loved the public bath facilities and the massages (yonna course). Inside the spa building they also serve simple lunch everyday and dinner (weekends only) There’s also a gym with quite a few machines, a 25m pool and games for rent."
"Great view of the water, and lots of great local places to eat and fun things to do within a 30 minute drive. The cafe on the resort is also really good!"
"Every part of our stay at Hyakuna Garan was memorable. This is a place where thoughtfulness shows in every detail—from the serene design to the incredible staff who were consistently kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere was deeply relaxing, making it easy to disconnect and fully enjoy the experience.
The food exceeded all expectations. It was much better than I anticipated from the online reviews. Every meal featured incredibly fresh ingredients and a well-balanced mix of Okinawan dishes. Dining here became one of the highlights of our stay.
The open-air baths were easy to use, beautifully maintained, and added a special, calming rhythm to each day.
If you’re considering Hyakuna Garan, don’t hesitate. Splurge on at least 1-2 nights—you won’t regret it.

Charming 2-bedroom house with AC, WiFi in gorgeous 南城市佐敷新里
10/10 Excellent
"The entire property is well designed. Very modern and clean. We really enjoyed the style. We were able to make dinner with the convection oven and dishes/utensils provided, as well as the Crock-Pot we brought. Our food fit in the fridge and freezer. We had plenty of space for our family of 5 to lounge and enjoy the evening inside playing games and watching movies. If if weren't as windy, we would have spent more time on the patios and used the BBQ.
The only surprise, which was more something to laugh about afterwards as we weren't expecting it, was the neighboring rooster singing around 4-7am. But still nothing to complain about as we were preparing to get up for New Year's Day sunrise anyways, and it's just a reminder of nature sounds. Everything was just what we needed!
Thank you"

"A perfect place for outdoor camping with hotel-like accommodation and interiors. Expect a bit lesser with very basic facilities but top it up with BBQ and campfire options - all in the wild, one will be extremely happy. Overall a 10-star place for a family (or more) to spend time together and create wonderful memories."
