"Plenty of parking at the rear of the pub for guest, which was great as there isn’t any parking on the Main Street. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice."

"It was stepping in to beautiful history with the friendliest most accommodating staff around. Truly special and delicious food."

"Such a beautiful, beautiful place in a lovely setting. Such attention to detail, the furnishings, the gardens and sitting areas not to mention the wonderful breakfast that was served. Our host could not have been more helpful or pleasant. We hated that we could only stay one night. Hopefully we can return one day !"

"Lovely room at Bearslake. Everything was set up for us on arrival. Breakfast hamper was lovely"

"Me and the wife are both disabled and because we notified the hotel at the time we booked our room we were given a room specifically designed to cater for people with disabilities.Compered to a lot of hotels that do not adapt any rooms or entrances or exits to cater for the disabled due to costs we found this such a bonus."

"Perfect location and amenities, Sally was a fantastic host. Was traveling alone for work but the cottage would have equally suited a family break. "

"I can’t fault Tim & Gill’s cottage. It was excellent. Everything you needed was available. Basically apart your own belongings she supplied towels, washing up liquid, foil, salt & pepper etc., You are welcomed with fresh flower's on the dining table & the most lovely scones, jam & clotted cream, fresh eggs(from Gill’s own chicks) & milk. Amazing!! Everything spotless clean. Have already stayed a second time & will be back next year."
